Nominate Graduate of Distinction If you know an outstanding graduate of Batavia High who has distinguished herself or himself in their community, profession or career, nominate them as a Graduate of Distinction. Each year at graduation, the BHS National Honor Society honors a former graduate. Some past honorees include Daniel Winegar, Samuel Pontillo, Rose Cacc... Author Visit - Robert San Souci Award winning children's book author Robert San Souci will visit John Kennedy School on Friday, March 12th. He will do 3 presentations throughout the day for students, and will also be autographing his books. San Souci's books are available for purchase; samples of his books are in the library for preview if you are interested... Nutrikids Update We are pleased to announce we are now entering in to our seventh week since the implementation of the Nutrikids Program. As our staff/students/faculty have become more familiar with the system and their ID numbers, we have noticed the lines are moving more quickly. There have been many positive comments from parents with r... JK Family Reading Night Please join us for John Kennedy's annual Family Reading Night on Tuesday, March 16th, from 6:00-8:00 pm. During the week of this year's PARP program, families and students are invited to participate in a fun-filled evening of reading and fun! Pizza will be served, and the Scholastic Book Fair will be open. Reading is our Luck... Universal Pre-K for 2010-11 The Batavia City School District will soon be accepting applications for the Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program for the 2010-2011 school year. Children who are residents of the School District, are four (4) years of age on or before December 1, 2010, and who are not enrolled in a special education program with GV Education... Kindergarten Registration Begins Note: Parents of new first grade pupils are also asked to register their child in the same time frame and with the same documentation. The District kindergarten registration for the 2010-2011 school year began the week of February 22. Children who will be five years old on or before December 1, 2010, are eligible to attend...
