Back to School
For parents of students who are new to Batavia High School, there will be a New Student Parent Orientation on September 2, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. in the BHS auditorium. For students, the first day of school is either September 8 or September 9. For students in grades Pre-K through 6 and grade 9, as well as for new transfer high school students, school begins on September 8. The following day, September 9, will be the first day that all students are in attendance. Scheduled recesses for the 2010-2011 school year include Thanksgiving break on November 24-26; winter break on December 22-31; Presidents’ Day break on February 21-23; spring break on April 18-25; and Memorial Day break on May 27-30.
