We believe that athletics is an integral part of the educational process.  It is the philosophy of the Batavia Athletic Department that participation in interscholastic athletics promotes and emphasizes good sportsmanship, self-discipline, responsibility, the importance of team play and that it can be a positive learning experience for the students participating.  As a student progresses from one level to another, it is our hope that there will be continued growth in these areas as well as in the athletic skill level.  Each level should build upon the other as the student moves through the program.  It is our hope that these values and skills learned in Batavia's Athletic Program stay with our student-athletes for a lifetime.

The goal for this athletic web site is to improve communication among all stakeholders of the Batavia Athletic Program.  Every effort will be made to maintain open communication among coaches, players, parents and all school personnel encouraging a positive experience for all the participants.
