The BHS Parent Teacher Group (BHSPTG) is composed of teachers, administration, students and parents working together for the betterment of BHS.
Mission/Vision: The BHS Parent Teache Group is comprised of parents, students, teachers, staff, administrators and the community providing the necessary support to enrich the educational process at BHS. Our goal is to create a comfortable, safe environment that recognizes achievements and promotes positive learning experiences for all members of the school community. Current members include: Administration: Christopher Dailey Julia Rogers Terry Moore Faculty/staff: Tim Stevens Rebecca Campbell Linda Chadwell Bob Mullen Students: Various student government reps.
Parents: Gail Stevens (facilitator) Beverly Hoy (treasurer) Lynn Houseknecht(secretary) Shelley Falitico And all parents of BHS students Some of the activities BHSPTG has undertaken include offering SAT prep courses, staff appreciation, researching and making recommendations on educational topics such as weighted grading, student and staff surveys, senior recognition breakfast, library improvement, developing a parent volunteer list, participation in parent/student orientation sessions, introductory Latin class and issues related to general school improvement.
