Science Monster
Under the astronomy category, this site entertains with information about our solar system. Students can find out how much they would weigh on each planet, how fast a rocket would have to go to escape the gravity on it, and lots of other "cool" facts about them. They can play pod launcher, where they have to figure out how much force is needed to launch their pod into a given range, and lunar landing, where they use their knowledge of gravity and inertia to land their pod. |
