The Batavia City School District is looking for a volunteer to serve on our Audit Committee.
The audit committee has been constituted by the Batavia City School District Board of Education. The role of the audit committee is to work collaboratively with school administrators and yet serve as an independent advisory body to the Batavia City School District Board of Education in order to enhance management structures and increase accountability of fiscal control procedures to safeguard public funds.
The Audit Committee generally meets four times per year in the evening between 4-6 PM (October, December/March/May). A full description of responsibilities and duties are available.
