Today was the last Mix It Up Day of the Year at BMS! Mix It Up Day is a Teaching Tolerance Initiative that encourages students to make new friends and connect with others who are from different backgrounds. BMS 5th Graders Rock and are awesome about moving out of their comfort zones to sit with a new friend during lunch. They played a word search game together and earned a summertime treat of a freezepop or a popsicle. We’re looking forward to planning more fun events next year! 💙🖤 #BMSProud #teachingtolerance

Students in Mrs Kraus, Ms Meier, Mr Botsford, Mrs Geitner, Mrs Veltz and Mrs Webster's science classes at BHS and BMS recently participated in the national March Mammal Madness competition. MMM is a yearly tournament featuring simulated competitions between various species of animals, with battles waged via social media. Students conduct research and complete a bracket with 64 animal "participants" to decide on a final champion. The final battle was the orca vs pride of lionesses, and the lionesses won! 💙🖤 #BMSProud
