Good Morning BMS today is Tuesday, November 2, 2021 Today is a “D” Day Please stand for the Pledge… Saturday November 13 the Outdoor Club will be doing an “Owl Prowl” at Genesee County Park, if interested please see Mrs. Woodward or Mrs. Veltz. All BMS students are welcome even if you have never attended an outdoor club meeting. Drama Club will be holding an informational meeting on tomorrow November 3rd at 3pm in the Auditorium. All grades are welcome! If you need a late bus pass see Mrs. Colopy in the AP office on Wednesday. Contact Mrs. Buckley if you are unable to attend. Attention All 5th Graders: October was bullying awareness month. Ms. Crumity has some coloring sheets in the counseling center that you can pick up and color. If you want to be more creative you can make your own anti-bullying poster. Last day to submit poster or coloring sheets is this tomorrow. Top three winners will be announced on Friday. Remember to be a Buddy....Not a Bully. Outdoor Club will meet today, Tuesday in Mrs. Woodward's room 2:45-3:15. All BMS students are welcome. Good Morning BMS today is Tuesday, October 26, 2021 Today is a “E” Day Please stand for the Pledge… It’s Red Ribbon Week! This year’s theme is Drug Free Looks Like Me. The theme is a reminder that by staying drug free, you are sending a message to yourself and others about how much you value yourself, your overall health, your community and your future. One thing’s for sure...by making healthy choices, like staying drug free, you are much more likely to achieve your goals. So aim for the stars! We believe in you. There will be a 7th and 8th grade math team meeting on TODAY from 2:45 to 3:20 in room A205 with Mrs. Franks. Please plan on attending. On Thursday October 28 we are hosting a Halloween Family Night! The event will run from 5:00-6:30 on the BMS Field. Join us for live music, trunk or treating, a dance party, photo booth and more! There will also be a FREE BAGGED DINNER for families. School appropriate costumes are encouraged. Hope to see you there. Spirit Week continues tomorrow with :Wear Red Day” Show your support for a healthy lifestyle. You can use crayons, colored pencils, paint or whatever art medium works best for your creation. On the back of the paper please write your full name and grade. There will be one winner for each grade, and a grand prize winner will get his/her work framed and given to the Principal to hang in the school. The theme is a call to action to speak out in support of healthy choices. It also serves as a reminder that we are all empowered with shaping the communities around us through positivity, bravery and strength. The GSA club will be holding its first meeting today after school. Any and all 6th-8th grade students are invited to join us. Students will meet in the Counseling Center after school at 2:50. If you can't make it please see Miss Tederous Attention Staff & Students: tomorrow is picture retake day from 11-1. If you did not have your picture taken in September or are not happy with your picture we will call your grade down to have it taken tomorrow. If you are having picture retakes you will need your original picture package with you. There will be NO math team meeting today. Please check our Google Classroom for this week's information. If you are still interested in joining math team please see Mrs. Franks in room A205. Kutter's Cheese orders and payments were due yesterday. Mrs. Woodward is able to accept orders until Friday of this week. Thank you to those families who helped us out with our fundraising efforts! We had so much fun at Camp Stella Maris last week and we are really hoping to have enough funds to do more field trips this school year.

Modified girls soccer crushed spencerport yesterday 5-2. Goals scored by Brielle Ricks, Lilly Mileham, Leilah Manuel, and Adyson O’Donnel. Great defensive game played by, Sydney Parker, Kaylynn Peyman, Aubrey Sputore, and Teegan Frens. Well done lady Devils! Attention 6th, 7th and 8th graders who are interested in helping the BMS community. There will be an AHEAD meeting on today right after school at 2:50-3:20 in Room A108. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. M-J or Mrs. Grimes in Room A108. Our first event will be preparing for Red Ribbon Week 2021. Do you know how to ski or snowboard? BMS Announcements for October 1: *Attention 7th and 8th grade students art club will start next Thursday. You can pick up an art club permission slip from Mrs. Crawford, Miss Drenkhahn, or from the folder hanging outside of our rooms. Space is limited, so it is first come first serve. *Modified Girls Soccer tied Hilton yesterday 2-2 after going into overtime. Both goals scored by Lilly Mileham, one being a penalty kick. Despite it being a difficult match, the lady devils fought hard. Keep up the great work. *Students please remember the schools cell phone policy - cell phones should not be brought into the bathrooms.
