Calling all new transfer students, returning virtual students, and incoming 2nd graders! Please join us for informal tours where you can meet the Principals and Counselors while getting a sneak peek at John Kennedy. Tours will run from 8:30 to 9:30 the morning of August 24. if you can't make it, don't forget that Open House and Supply Drop off is September 6!
Clarification on JK start time:
Breakfast - 8:00 (students go to classroom when done eating)
Bus drop off - 8:00
No Breakfast Drop Off - 8:00-8:15
8:00-8:20 in the classrooms will be used as a social emotional, educational, and relationship building time, great for all!

A few students from our @BataviaJK Extended Year Summer program trying out our new sensory room. Kids were smiling, laughing, helping each other and getting a little workout in. Student feedback, “We LOVE it!” 👍 📚
It’s the final week of Extended Year at JK and the theme is carnivals. Students enjoyed the Bounce House today! We have had a wonderful 5 weeks :)
The @BataviaJK Extended Year kids had a visit from Cris Johnson and his Wacky Science show! The kids had lots of laughs participating in and watching some awesome science experiments. 🧪🌎🔬
This week we had two special raffles for students who attended and were on time all week. Huge thanks to @blondiessipndip for an ice cream gift card and to @nationalgrid for donating an autographed Buffalo Sabres mini helmet! We are learning lots & having fun this summer!
This week’s theme for JK Extended Year is animals. So, we had a special visit from Nickel City Reptiles today!
Calling all JK Extended Year students! Don’t forget that each Thursday, students who are present and on time every day that week will be entered in a raffle for fun prizes. This week we will raffle of Muckdawg Tickets for tomorrow night’s game! ⚾️
JK Extended Year is off to a great start! We loved seeing smiling faces and the instruments students made in STEAM to celebrate this week’s theme of music 🎶
JK Extended Year starts tomorrow! If you are enrolled in Summer Scholars or Acceleration Academy for grades 2-4 it is from 8:20-11:20am Tues-Thurs July 12-August 11. Drop off and pick up is at the main entrance of JK. Breakfast and lunch included.
