District Social Worker

And who do I have to thank for this wonderful life I am so fortunate to experience, but you the public, the parents.  For you have done me the great honor to entrust to me your greatest contribution to eternity, your children.

And so I have a past that is rich in memories.  I have a present that is challenging, adventurous and fun because I am allowed to spend my days with the future.  John W. Schlatt

It has been my great pleasure and honor to serve the families of Jackson Primary for the last 21 years.  This summer, I assumed a new position as the Batavia City School District Social Worker. I look forward to working in partnership with you to collaborate, assess and problem solve so that each student is able to succeed academically, socially and emotionally.  My hope is that through working reciprocally, we can assure that your child has their best possible days at BCSD by affording them access to the maximum health and safety benefits this supportive environment can offer.

My location has moved to John Kennedy Intermediate School.  You can reach me by e-mail at jwasilewski@bataviacsd.org or my phone number is 343-2480 ext. 5106.  I welcome all interactions in order to discuss your issues, concerns and to answer any questions that involve your child.   As always, I assure you the greatest respect and confidentiality concerning all of our communications. Please do not hesitate to leave a private message on any of the above correspondences.
