What a busy day at JK! We started the day with our Spotted Making Good Choices winners riding the fire truck. It was awesome! We ended the day with our 4th graders having a special Red Ribbon Week presentation. THANK YOU to the BFD and DEA for helping us out!

Ryan Duffy from the Holland Land Office was here to tell a Native American Tale about the Tonawanda Creek and then students visited several artifact stations with their class to explore local history and Iroquois.

JK’s first Family Meeting of the year was SO much fun! We danced, we sang and we learned. What a great way to start the day!
Tonight we celebrated our Board of Education! Some of our JK Fourth Grade Mentors spoke at the meeting, assisted a younger student in reading a Thank You letter and gave appreciation towards our BCSD Board of Education. Great work, mentors!
Each week an @bataviabhs Senior comes to our school for a work study of various responsibilities. Gavin is an alumni of @BataviaJK and his former teachers love having him back in the building helping out!

Day 2 of our 4th grade Camp Stella Maris Field Trip brought sun and smiles. We made memories while doing fun challenges and learning outside!
