Batavia City School District Opens Nominations for Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026

The Batavia City School District is now accepting nominations for the Batavia Blue Devils Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
Nominations will be accepted from April 1 through April 30, 2026, giving community members the opportunity to recognize athletes, coaches, administrators, and contributors who have made a lasting impact on Batavia Blue Devil athletics.
The Hall of Fame honors individuals who have achieved a high level of success in Batavia High School athletics and who have represented the Blue Devils with pride, both during their time in the district and beyond.
Eligible nominees may include standout athletes, dedicated coaches, and individuals whose contributions have helped shape and strengthen Batavia’s athletic programs. Athletes become eligible ten years after graduation, while coaches and contributors are eligible following their retirement.
“The Athletic Hall of Fame is a way for our community to celebrate the people who helped define Batavia athletics,” said Joel Reed, Director of Health, Physical Education, and Athletics. “We know there are many deserving Blue Devils whose stories and accomplishments continue to inspire our students today.”
Community members are encouraged to submit nominations and include supporting materials such as statistics, records, honors, or news clippings that highlight the nominee’s achievements and impact.
