Meal Modifications and Food Allergies

The Batavia City School District is committed to providing safe and nutritious meals for all students. Meal modifications and food substitutions may be available for students with medical conditions, food allergies, or other special dietary needs.

To request a meal accommodation, families must submit an Authorization for Meal Modification Form completed and signed by a recognized medical authority, such as a physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, or registered dietitian. This documentation helps our Nutritional Services team ensure appropriate accommodations are made while meeting federal and state meal program requirements.

Please have your child's medical provider complete the form and return it to the District as instructed. If you have questions regarding meal modifications or food allergies, please contact the Nutritional Services Department for assistance.
