Batavia Blue Devil Athletic Hall of Fame Announces 21st Class for September Induction

The Batavia Blue Devil Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is proud to announce its recently selected 21st Hall of Fame class. The 2026 Hall of Fame inductees will be introduced at halftime of the Batavia vs. Eastridge homecoming football game on Friday, September 18 at Van Detta Stadium. Game time is 7 p.m.
Congratulations to the 2026 class of Batavia Blue Devil Athletic Hall of Fame inductees:
- Alyssa (Tretter) Antinore, Class of 2008
- Jen Saunders-Baier, Class of 1998
- Christopher Ball, Class of 1993
- Michael Battaglia, Class of 2007
- Catherine (McAllister) Bichler, Class of 2012
- Michael Bromley, Athletic Director (1999-2023)
- Michael DiBacco, Class of 2014
- Angela (Jarvela) Heale, Class of 2010
- Paul Spiotta, Class of 1975
On Saturday, September 19, the Committee will host the Hall of Fame Dinner at the Batavia Downs Gaming banquet facility, 8315 Park Rd, Batavia. Social hour will begin at 5 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m., immediately followed by the induction ceremony.
Community members may purchase Hall of Fame tickets at the Batavia CSD Athletics Office, located inside Batavia High School, 260 State Street, Batavia. The cost of Hall of Fame tickets is $40 per adult and $20 for children under age 10. Tickets must be purchased by Friday, September 12. About the Batavia Blue Devil Athletic Hall of Fame:
The Batavia Blue Devil Athletic Hall of Fame honors individuals who have achieved a high level of success in Batavia High School athletics and who have represented the Blue Devils with pride, both during their time in the district and beyond. Eligible nominees may include standout athletes, dedicated coaches and individuals whose contributions have helped shape and strengthen Batavia’s athletic programs. Athletes become eligible 10 years after graduation, while coaches and contributors are eligible following their retirement. The Hall of Fame gives community members the opportunity to recognize athletes, coaches, administrators and contributors who have made a lasting impact on Batavia Blue Devil athletics.
